Research

Journal club was established in our college in the year 2022. This is an initiative to educate the students with recent advances in the field of research.The club discusses the scientific merit, pros, cons, technology gap and future implementation of current research and individual research findings.The journal club conducts frequent meetings to discuss research papers from various fields of science to inculcate and improve research ideas among students.The club also invites eminent research professionals as guests to enrich the students on current research endeavours.   

VISION

 Journal club is intended to disseminate knowledge among staff, students research scholars by evaluating scientific and academic literature of any discipline. It is most often an educational meeting whose main agenda is to discuss published articles related to current research findings. It helps the participants to be in par with recent developments in science and technology or achievements in other disciplines related to field of interest.

JOURNAL CLUB ACTIVITIES

   Selection of scientific paper found in a research journal related or relevant to the targeted audience

   A maximum of two members can present the paper to the audience in the form of a powerpoint presentation

   Discussion by the on the pros, cons, technology gap, future implementation etc.

   Consice report preparation by the presenter(s) on the topic discussed

   Invited guest speakers may present their research findings

   Journal club meetings also includes- Team debates, Discussion questions from the group, Guest facilitators
