The Department of Microbiology is an interdisciplinary science that combines the biological sciences with innovative technologies, cultivating specific skill sets that integrate the study of microscopic life and technological advancements. The curriculum is continuously updated to meet the evolving demands of the industry. The well-structured and balanced curriculum emphasizes key areas within the microbial world, encompassing applications in biological, agricultural, environmental, clinical, and industrial sectors. This includes the commercial exploitation of microbes for various products and processes. The department boasts well-equipped laboratory facilities that support cutting-edge research across diverse areas of microbiology.
