The Synergy of AI and IoT: Revolutionizing Modern Farming Dr. D. Jasmine Priskilla In Mythe Creators, Coimbatore, St. Josephs College for Women, Tiruppur, Jul 2024.
Abstract [+]
AIoTthe agricultural Internet of thingsrepresents a revolutionary approach to contemporary farming by combining artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of things (IoT). This study examines the benefits of combining AI with IoT, with particular attention to how these technologies might be used in resource management, livestock tracking, and precision farming. In order to enable real-time data analysis and decision-making, the article explores the technological developments and techniques that underpin AIoT, including machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and edge computing. Increased crop yields, better resource management, and enhanced animal welfare are all made possible by the significant gains in efficiency, productivity, and sustainability that follow. The study illustrates how AIoT solutions are transforming agriculture through case studies from different locations and comparative analysis, offering concrete proof of reduced environmental impact and increased operational efficiency. The paper highlights the ecological and economic advantages of AIoT in farming through a thorough examination backed by data-driven insights. |

Enhancing Rural Language Learning and Cultural Preservation through AI-Powered Voice Assistants DR. D. JASMINE PRISKILLA In ISSN, COIMBATORE, Sep 2025.
Abstract [+]
Language is the key to cultural identity, but rural communities are unable to access digital tools facilitating native language learning and preservation. This paper suggests that an AI voice assistant dedicated to Tamil and other local languages be developed, incorporating Natural Language Processing (NLP), speech recognition, and text-to-speech synthesis. The system being proposed is meant to facilitate bilingual learning, which will allow rural students to practice conversation, build vocabulary, and share cultural narratives. Based on context-aware AI models that have been trained using local language datasets, the assistant can learn to accommodate dialectical differences and maintain oral heritage. The architecture of the system includes offline modes, guaranteeing access in low-connectivity locations. Field trials in chosen rural schools show enhanced language understanding, enhanced speaking confidence, and greater participation in cultural learning exercises. It showcases the role of AI in bridging the digital and cultural divide and provides a scalable and sustainable solution to language learning and preservation. |

Transforming Indian Education: A Critical Examination of the Future Trajectory and Inherent Obstacles of NEP 2020 Dr. D. JASMINE PRISKILLA In BOOKENDS PUBLISHING, NEW DELHI, , Aug 2025.
Abstract [+]
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 marks a seminal shift in India's educational landscape, envisioning a holistic, flexible, and multidisciplinary education system rooted in the Indian ethos and geared toward 21st-century needs. This chapter explores the transformative vision of NEP 2020, delineates its future trajectory, and critically examines the systemic, structural, and operational obstacles that may hinder its effective realization. The policy aims to overhaul the Indian education system by introducing wide-ranging reforms in both school and higher education. Rooted in the principles of equity, quality, and universal access, it seeks to prepare students for a dynamic global ecosystem while grounding them in India's rich cultural heritage. Key reforms include the 5+3+3+4 curricular structure, the emphasis on foundational literacy and numeracy through the NIPUN Bharat Mission, the establishment of multidisciplinary universities, and the creation of the Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) for flexible learning pathways. |

Exploring Sacred Texts: Smriti and Shruti Perspectives Dr. D. Jasmine Priskilla In BUTTERFLY PUBLISHING, , May 2025.
Abstract [+]
This chapter, "Exploring Sacred Texts: “Smriti and Shruti Perspectives,” gives a detailed understanding of the first and the most important of the Hindu scriptures. The first part deals with the difference between Smriti and Shruti, and most importantly with the history of their development, as well as the procedures followed during the creation process of these texts. Subsequent to offering an understanding of philosophical pillars of Dharma, Karma and actuality of existence, this chapter defines what the texts of Shruti generally and more particularly, the Vedas, Upanishads, Brahmanas and Aranyakas contain. The discussion next shifts to the Smriti literature focussing on the epics, Puranas, Dharma Shastras, Agamas and their impact on the social, religious and Cultural aspects of the Hindus. This chapter uncovers, through a comparative analysis, the philosophical harmony and dissonance between Smriti and Shruti, its roles in society and the hundreds of interpretative traditions that later emerged. The last part of the chapter focuses on aesthetics of the writings in today’s society where other new interpretations like the feminist, ecumenical among other issues are touched on. This comprehensive evaluation demonstrates that despite some of the Smriti and Shruti seem rather lost in the present days, these two sources play a huge role in the majority of the modern Hindu’s lives and remind them of the main Hindu philosophy. |
