About the Department
Department of BBA started in the year 1998, with the Affiliation from Madras University. It is Affiliation from Madras University to Thiruvalluvar University in the Year of 2002. The main aim of the Department is to prepare the students to face the challenges in the business world. Department lays great emphasis on developing right attitudes, values, discipline and build student personality which is needed for service oriented career prospects. Abstract [+]
Attracting and recruiting talent is one of the main concerns for companies that are competing for talent in the global market. But with each open posts attracting thousands of applications, it has become challenging for HR managers to sort through all the applications and select the right candidates. About 52% of the recruitment and talent acquisition specialists find screening candidates from the application pool the hardest part of the recruitment process. But if we can automate the screening step or even other repetitive tasks in the hiring process, recruitment can become more efficient and effective. This is where artificial intelligence (AI) in recruitment and HR management comes into the picture, offering recruiters opportunities to disengage from repetitive screening tasks and focus on recruiting the best candidates. AI is helping companies find the correct talent by analysing resumes and matching them with job descriptions. Also HR professionals are expected to minimize costs and time, while at the same time on boarding top talent. Recruitment and searching for the right talent can really be an arduous job, but with the help of artificial intelligence (AI), it’s become increasingly easier. Hence this paper is aimed to highlight the role of AI in employee recruitment. The basic idea of the study is to scrutinise the related literature and find out the features, advantages and limitations/challenges of using AI which would be helpful for recruiters in better understanding of the technology-driven recruitment. |

The implications of technological developments and innovations for humans are increasingly becoming complex, with the role of machines changing from useful tools for production or usage to playing a critical role in different spheres of organisational and economic life (e.g. Coupe, 2019; Arslan et al., 2021) The rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and automation have significant implications for the future of work. As the business landscape evolves, it is imperative for Human Resource (HR) professionals to equip themselves with the necessary skills to adapt and lead in this AI-driven era human resources departments are undergoing a transformation, and at the forefront of this revolution are chatbots and virtual assistants. These digital companions have evolved significantly, becoming indispensable tools for HR professionals, streamlining processes, enhancing employee experiences, and improving overall efficiency. This article delves into the evolutionary journey of chatbots and virtual assistants in HR, from their early days of basic automation to their current roles as intelligent HR companions. |

Abstract [+]
Manpower guidance is simply guiding and directing the employees and workers regarding the sector’s work. It typically deals with coordinating, motivating, controlling, directing of the various activities within the company or industry. The guidance refers to providing essential information by person with more experience to a new comer or fresher or existing employees to solve a problem or improve something. The guidance refers to the process of helping workers and employees to discover and develop their potentiality in their work or workplace. Further, manpower guidance helps in the development of workers or employees on their skills. On the other side manpower guidance helps in training the people in the workplace to achieve an optimal level of knowledge and skills in what they do. They become a updated by enhancing their mind. Moreover, an individual or worker or employees whomever receives proper guidance would surely contribute well to the company. A properly guided individual would be able to develop themselves into a better version and can shape them better. The principal of guidance certainly form the basis of the need of Manpower guidance. Guidance must take the all-round development of the person. Guidance involves personal help given by someone; which means to assist the person in working. It also assists him to solve problems that arise in work. The purpose of manpower guidance is to promote the growth of both individual and company by proving the employees a better training. |

The current study, which will be organized in light of previous research, aims to investigate issues facing college students. The study aimed to determine the views of college students regarding their issues of accommodation and nutrition, coping and orientation, anxiety about the future and unemployment, and educational attainment. For research purposes, data should be collected using questionnaires and personal information sheets prepared after consulting relevant literature. The study sample consisted of 320 randomly selected students studying at the college of during the 2019-2020 academic years. Studied according to faculty and gender variables. Regarding the obtained results, the views of the selected students in the two faculties about the problems they encountered during their college studies will be compared. The obtained data will be analyzed using the program SPSS. |

It discusses about the possibilities to reduce expenses which can help in overcoming the challenges in the organization by identifying quality candidates and long lead time.Other areas that are looked up on open position to fill pressure, managing job posting,collaborating with coworkers, spending time on non-hiring tasks etc. The best suggested method is to hire ring methods which could be effective for managing the challenges. |

Abstract [+]
Abstract---Many colleges experience increase in attrition and it has great impact on the performance of the colleges. Objective of this study is to find why employee are leaving their job and propose retention initiatives. The research instrument used to obtain data was questionnaire. A total 200 employees are there in the college. By using random sampling a total of 140 employees were interviewed using questionnaires. Correlation analysis is used to test the inter correlation between the variable. Correlation result shows that the two variables of motivation and job satisfaction were correlated with employee retention in the college. Same tool has been used to determine the relationship between the variables namely the relationship of the management with the staff and the factors influencing this relationship to grow stronger. Results indicate attrition is associated with compensation provided for the additional working hours to the staff and their selection process. These findings clearly indicate that in order to retain the best talented employees in the college, taking care of the employees by having good relationship with them is a must. |

Now a days many college facing in attrition and most impact on the performance of the colleges. The objectives are find to why staffs are move on their college suggest retention in good solution. Here researcher used research instrument is questionnaire data was collected from Arts and Science colleges staff in Tirupattur taluk. A total number of staffs in the colleges by used random sampling to 200 staffs’ researcher were interviewed with questionnaires. The correlation analysis test for different variables. The test output shows the two variables one is motivation Factors & job satisfaction are relating with staff retention to the college. Statistical tools are determine to the relationship between the variable of the management and which factor influencing the relationship to develop to stronger. The attrition is indicate into compensation then additional hours to the staff selection steps. This study especially shows retain the best talented staff in the college, the staff have a good relationship is them must. |
