The Department of Interior Design and Decor develops and advances the interior design discipline through excellence in teaching and service. Producing graduates where professional, creative activities contribute to the theory, practical knowledge, technical skills & professional ethics to practice interior design. The laboratory facilitates practical work for the UG students.

Textiles Lab

The Textile lab is used for surface enrichment of fabrics such as embroideries, paintings, printings and so on. Students learn different types of stitches used for fabrics, determine various embroidery practiced in different states of India, basic techniques of tatting and crocheting.

Drafting Lab

       The Drafting lab enables the students to work on their own designs for buildings and structures. The lab assists 40 drawing tables with stools, drafting tools and mediums.

Autocad Lab

AutoCAD lab is used to create the 2 Dimensional and 3 Dimensional designs for residential and commercial buildings.  It helps the students to create designs in either 2D or 3D to visualize construction, and it also enables the development, modification, and optimization of the design process. The lab accommodates 40 Computers with AutoCAD software and Google SketchUP software.

Design Lab

       The Design lab is a well equipped space with different rooms such as living room, kitchen, bed room and so on. This lab provides an opportunity for the students to become an event manager, space planner. Students can learn the application of principles and Art Elements of design in creating beautiful interiors and develop designs using different lines on different media.

These labs are a great place for students to learn their course work using practical experiments.

Smart Classroom

The smart classroom enables to create and organize notes for the classes in a better way. The projectors in the smart classroom helps the students to take better notes and visualize the information start by the teacher in the better way. It heighteneds the knowledge through audio and video mode of teaching. Well equipped projector facility with internet connection it kept to teach the concept through visualization via PPT, YouTube and Audio mode.

Classroom

Well established classroom makes the students to learn in a much more comfortable environment. Good lighting and Fan facility create healthy environment for their studies. The entire classroom is equipped with good writing table and chair facility for the students. Comfortable furniture helps the students to learn better as it sets up a comfortable space of learning for the students.
