BEST PRACTICES

Physics is primarily concerned with how motion, light, heat and force interact with energy and matter. Physics lab has a variety of instruments used to conduct these kinds of experiments. Therefore, our students are adequately prepared for a major in physics with goals to undergo post-graduate programs in various field and student- teacher relations are very friendly due to which we can shape the carrier as per their ability and capability for better results and placements of students.

UG PHYSICS LAB

Established in 2003 the undergraduate laboratory for B.Sc students is equipped with several experiments in different branches in Physics. Laboratory work is a very important part of a course in General Physics. It reinforces the student’s understanding of fundamental concepts and principles while, at the same time, helping the student to develop their skill in carrying out scientific measurements. It is designed in such a way that the students can understand the basics of Physics through hands on experiments

PG PHYSICS LAB

Established in 2014 the postgraduate laboratory for M.Sc students is equipped with sophisticated instruments like, Hall Effect, CRO, and Four Probe etc... The course is programmed in such a way that the students develop practical skills through the laboratory sessions and research project works.

RESEARCH LAB

The research work carried out in the department has been published in a number of national and international journals resulting in good number of citations of our work. The department has a well-established laboratory to prepare thin films, Crystal Growth and nanomaterials by physical and chemical methods. Students learn their Research knowledge through the laboratory sessions and research project works.

PROJECTOR & OHP CLASSROOMS

Projector and OHP enable teachers to create and take effective classes for the betterment of the students. With the use of projector in classroom, students can understand more with ability to discern what information the teacher teaches and visualize it.
