The department of Social Work inculcates certain best practices in is an attempt to discuss indigenous approaches to social work methods globally, aiming to impart knowledge and support the practitioners, academicians and students to work for social work intervention models, appropriate to the local needs within the socio-cultural context.

Our practice and your reflections on what you learn about social work will be guided by your understanding and application of these four components of good practice.

Encouraging all the students to learn value added courses and bridge courses.

To associate with concerned projects from day one at working environment.

Conducting workshop and seminar / webinar / conference related to subjects to improve their knowledge.

Encouraging students to take internship in various NGO ,Industries Student counseling both for personal and career guidance

Encouraging students to use digital library Activities of student chapters on both professional and cultural front for the overall development.

Development encouraging the faculty to upgrade their knowledge and skills through Faculty.

FDP programmers to faculty to improve innovative teaching methods
