OBJECTIVES OF DBT STAR COLLEGE SCHEME
- To strengthen academic and physical infrastructure in order to achieve excellence in teaching, learning, and scientific training.
- To enhance the quality of the teaching–learning process by promoting innovative thinking through hands-on experimental exposure and participation in summer schools and skill-based programmes.
- To augment core instrumentation facilities through the procurement of advanced equipment and the modernization of existing laboratory infrastructure.
- To organize specialized training programmes and faculty development initiatives aimed at improving technical knowledge and professional competencies of teachers.
- To promote academic networking and foster collaborative relationships with neighbouring institutions, research laboratories, and scientific organizations.
- To provide students with greater exposure to research laboratories, industries, and advanced scientific environments across the country.
- To support the development of standardized curricula, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and practical training kits for effective laboratory instruction.
- To strengthen library resources and improve access to quality learning materials for both students and faculty members.
