OBJECTIVES OF DBT STAR COLLEGE SCHEME

To strengthen academic and physical infrastructure in order to achieve excellence in teaching, learning, and scientific training.
To enhance the quality of the teaching–learning process by promoting innovative thinking through hands-on experimental exposure and participation in summer schools and skill-based programmes.
To augment core instrumentation facilities through the procurement of advanced equipment and the modernization of existing laboratory infrastructure.
To organize specialized training programmes and faculty development initiatives aimed at improving technical knowledge and professional competencies of teachers.
To promote academic networking and foster collaborative relationships with neighbouring institutions, research laboratories, and scientific organizations.
To provide students with greater exposure to research laboratories, industries, and advanced scientific environments across the country.
To support the development of standardized curricula, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and practical training kits for effective laboratory instruction.
To strengthen library resources and improve access to quality learning materials for both students and faculty members.
