Standard club of MKJC is privilaged to be involved in socio-welfare activities to create awareness about the standards of every products with the support of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). MKJC became a part of BIS in the year of 2022. The main objective of the Standard Club is to educate and train the students to identify BIS certification mark on products, to read product labeling, to verify licenses of products and check the authenticity of products. BIS provides operational support to the club in the form of training for mentors, coordinating the activities and offering financial support. Regular meetings are conducted among the standard club members for imparting knowledge about standardization and quality of products.  Door to door campaign was organized, where the volunteers were asked to enlighten the common people, about the BIS certifications on various products and their significance, in different areas of the town.  BIS has also conducted standard writing competition among the students of our college.

VISION

Standard club is intended to dessiminate knowledge about the standards of various products among public through diverse activities. Innovative and Interactive programmes are planned to motivate the students to participate in the various activities, which will help in eradicating the fake products, and create a cognizance amongst the citizens of the country about using products of the right quality.

 Exposure visit to various industries to understand the production of manufactured goods.
