National Service Scheme, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India, popularly known as NSS was launched on Gandhiji's Birth Centenary Year 1969 in 37 Universities involving 40,000 students with primary focus on the development of personality of students through community service.
National Service Scheme provides branch out opportunities to students in colleges and Universities to develop their personality through community services.
Community services provide by University level students have covered several aspects like adoption of villages for intensive development work, mass tree plantation, technology transfer programmes, technologies for rural development, various technical training programmes for self-help groups and rural youth etc.,
Red ribbon club is a movement by the Government of India in Educational Institutions through which students will be making awareness on various things.
Through RRC youth are encouraged to learn about safe and healthy lifestyles. The RRC promotes access to information on safe voluntary blood donation and so on.
The RRC aims at harnessing the potential of youth by equipping them with correct information on Care, Support and Treatment on various health isuues. It also aims to build their capacities as peer educators to spread right messages on health seeking behavior and healthy living.
They will also be motivated to create enabling environment and increasing voluntary blood donations among youth.
Youth Red Cross helps the students to inculcate discipline in them and to understand their responsibilities towards their countrymen, especially the poor and downtrodden.
Youth Red Cross is to inculcate in the Youth of our country an awareness on the care of their own health and that of others the understanding and acceptance of civic responsibilities and acting accordingly with humanitarian concern, to fulfill the same to enable the growth and development.

Youth Red Cross Society functions with the one and only aim of serving people in distress without any consideration of caste, religion, language and nationality.
ROTARACT CLUB
Rotary is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.
Membership of Rotary develops leadership, public speaking, social, business, personal and vocational skills as well as improving cultural awareness
OBJECTIVES OF NSS
National Service Scheme (NSS) was introduced in 1969 with the primary objective of developing the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service. 'Education through Service' is the purpose of the NSS.
To understand the community in which they work.
To understand themselves in relation to their community.
Identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem solving process.
Develop competence required for a group living and sharing of responsibilities.
Acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitude.
Develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters.
To extend the national integration and social harmony.

To inculcate Unity in the Youth of our country.
To create an awareness on the care of their own health and that of others.
To Understand and acceptance of civic responsibilities and acting accordingly with humanitarian concern, to fulfill the same.
To enable the growth and development of a spirit of service and sense of duty with dedication and devotion in the minds of youth.
To foster better friendly relationship with all without any discrimination
OBJECTIVES OF RRC
To promote voluntary blood donation among youth.
To motivate youth and build their capacity as peer educators and change agents by developing their skills on leadership, negotiation, and team building.
To counsel the students regarding the various preventives for their proper health.

NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME
Education through services is the dimension that NSS imparts to the students community, The NSS aims to draw students close social realities and involves them on social project with weaker sections of the society.
Our college has two units of National service scheme with Two Programme Officers and 200 volunteers. The activities of NSS have two spheres i.e. Regular and special camp activities.
YOUTH RED CROSS & RED RIBBON CLUB
Youth Red Cross and Red Ribbon club of the college carry out many social welfare activities. Students are training in developing their professional as well as human skills.
It is a team movement organized at the initial stages for students to enable the growth and development of a spirit of service and sense of duty with dedication and devotion in the minds of youth and also to inculcate the awareness of health care of individual and public.
ROTARACT CLUB
There is the part of global effort bring peace and international understanding to the world. The goal of the club is to develop Professional and leadership skills. The club aims to expand the member’s understanding of the work environment and business opportunities in the community.
