Ivan Pavlov Association >> Ivan Pavlov Association

About

The Ivan Pavlov Association was established during the academic year 2024 - 2025 under the PG Department of Psychology with the aim of enhancing knowledge, research, and practical understanding in the field of psychology. The association is named after Ivan Pavlov, the renowned Russian physiologist best known for his pioneering work on classical conditioning — a foundation in behavioral psychology.

The association serves as a platform for students to explore various aspects of psychology through academic enrichment activities, experiential learning, and community outreach programs. It encourages students to apply psychological principles in real-life contexts, promote mental health awareness, and develop both professional and personal growth.

The activities of the association include seminars, workshops, guest lectures, exhibitions, field visits, and mental health awareness programs. Students actively participate in organizing and leading events that promote psychological well-being and understanding of human behavior. The association also collaborates with NGOs, hospitals, and other institutions to extend mental health services to the community.
