The Sevottam Club was introduced in our college in the academic year 2017-2018. The aim the club is to provide awareness on various legislation in India relating to women's right such as Provisions of The Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, Dowry Prohibition Act, Immoral Traffic Prevention Act, The Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act 1986, The Commission of Sati (Prevention) Act, Hindu Adoption And Maintenance Act. .  The activity of Sevottam is to empower students regarding various laws available to protect themselves from various types of exploitation.

OBJECTIVES

• The objective of club is to empower students regarding various laws available to protect themselves from various types of exploitation.
• To empower them regarding the rights of adult/married women under general laws relating to employment and their physical well-being.

VISION

To create awareness on rights of women citizen and to make them aware of various laws   that protects them from various exploitation.

MISSION

To conduct various activities to empower the students on the role of women in family and at society and make them socially responsible in the society.
